How personal data collected through this website is processed.

Personal data is processed by SRN Hukuk & Danışmanlık as data controller under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law no. 6698 (“the Law”).

2. Data processed

Name and surname; e-mail address and telephone number; organisation and position where provided; the content of your message; and technical data such as IP address, browser information and pages visited, collected through cookies and server logs.

3. Purposes

  • Receiving, assessing and responding to enquiries submitted through the website or by e-mail
  • Directing the enquiry to the relevant lawyer
  • Carrying out a conflict check and assessing whether the matter can be accepted
  • Operating and securing the website
  • Analysing website use (only with your consent)
  • Sending newsletters (only with your consent)
  • Complying with legal obligations and establishing or defending legal claims

4. Legal grounds

Article 5/2 (c), (ç), (e) and (f) of the Law, and your explicit consent under Article 5/1 for analytics and functional cookies and for newsletter subscription.

5. Transfers

Data may be shared with our IT service providers, with competent public authorities where required by law, and with judicial authorities where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim. Analytics and map services provided by non-Turkish providers run only if you consent; in that case your IP address and browser information may be transferred abroad under Article 9 of the Law on the basis of your explicit consent.

6. Your rights

You have the rights set out in Article 11 of the Law, including the right to learn whether your data is processed, to request information, to request rectification or erasure, and to object. Requests may be submitted in writing to the address above or by e-mail from an address previously notified to us, and will be answered within thirty days at the latest.
